Softether running on cloud service, like Amazon EC2?

Greetings!

In very simple terms, when using SoftEther VPN installed on a could virtual machine, what will be the IP that one will get?
For example, If I rent an Amazon EC2, based in Florida, US, does that mean it will assign a Florida-based IP (assuming the servers are physically located in FL, US)?

Ideally, I will have to use such service for about a month as I will be travelling overseas. I've read quite a lot of comments about the fact that it drops the connection quite often and it may not be a reliable option available on the market. If anybody has such experience and would like to share, it would be greatly appreciated.
