Hello,

What is the preferred way to have SoftEther use your preferred DHCP server. Currently running Open-DHCP which is on the same server, however can not get an IP address when connecting, connects the without the IP address.

Would appreciate any insight, thanks

When testing SoftEther in the lab on-site everything works smoothly. Now I would like to transition this to a data center for central remote access. Where users are connecting for secure internet connectivity - no LAN access just secure internet, currently using two nics for internet and users.

Can one use a dedicated server with a public static IP and (1)NIC to achieve this solution. When setting up and using SecureNAT in this scenario all works just fine, now want to use Windows DHCP or Open DHCP server functions and remove SecureNAT as this was only for testing.

Is a local bridge required for this to work? Enabling on current host gets kicked off since they claim it's 'mac spoofing'. Possibly another host works more friendly with this setup, just wanted to see if anyone has any insight.

Looking forward to hearing your input on this.

Thanks,

Hello,

Will SoftEther support DHCP on a Windows Server using NAT or built-in DHCP over a single NIC? Your documentation setting up on a Cloud VM requires each client be assigned an IP, will this change in the future?

For those who want to setup in the Cloud, having the ability to run similar to Remote Access within Windows Server 2012 over a single NIC and dynamically assign via NAT would be very beneficial.
