Hi All,

A very happy new year to all.

I have setup vpnserver "v4.03-9411-rtm-2014.01.07" on Ubuntu 12.04.3,

Configuretion is as below..

VPN Server/VPN>SecureNatEnable
VPN Server/VPN>UserCreate test
VPN Server/VPN>UserPasswordSet test

VPN Server/VPN>ServerCertRegenerate server-IP
VPN Server/VPN>ServerCertGet ~/cert.cer

VPN Server/VPN>SstpEnable yes

Every thing is working as it should, But when i try to connect VPN from windows 7 with Native MS-SSTP client. It didn't work and give below error in server_logs.

On the TCP Listener (Port 443), a Client (IP address 141.212.121.10, Host name "researchscan010.eecs.umich.edu", Port number 56891) has connected.
For the client (IP address: 141.212.121.10, host name: "researchscan010.eecs.umich.edu", port number: 56891), connection "CID-26" has been created.
SSL communication for connection "CID-26" was started. The encryption algorithm name is "RC4-MD5".
Connection "CID-26" terminated by the cause "A client which is non-SoftEther VPN software has connected to the port." (code 5).

Am i missing some thing, because i am following below link to connect and i have imported Root CA.

Thanks

The server cert. generated does not belong to researchscan010.eecs.umich.edu
You need to use the dns name from softether of install the cert. from researchscan010.eecs.umich.edu

There is also a trick with how to import certificate to client machine. I had same issue as you are describing and got it solved as described in this topic: http://www.vpnusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2710
