I have a VPS. My VPS provider claimed to have some kind of issue and needed to change my IP subnet. Now My DNS host name will not work and I get this error: Unable To Reach The IPv4 DDNS Server.

What could be causing this?

There is little to no information on this issue other than if I was somehow behind a proxie. Is it possible they placed me behind a proxie?

What else could cause this error?

SOLVED: The DNS nameserver on the VPS wasn't working. I could ping 8.8.8.8 but I could not ping google.com
This prevented the DNS hostname from connecting to the softether server to update the IP address. The VPN continued to work because it was using the DNS nameserver set in SoftEther DNS settings.
