Hello,
I have today successfully implemented my first softether VPN, Thanks for this wonderful easy tool.
But I have a little problem which is most likely more Windows than Softether related.
I have a small Network and on the server I have set up user groups with different access restrictions to folders.
e.g. some users are not allowed to see the HR folder
If I access now via softether, every user has the possibility to see every folder.
How can I restrict that the User 001 can see everything but the user 002 can only see what he sees when he is local in the network?
Hope you can help me out with some ideas.
Best Thomas

I think you make a mistake in some sharing configuration.

Re: Restrict access for a vpn user
would settings the rights of the folder works? just right click -> Properties -> Security
p/s - think that might not work if all users are in the Admin group

Are you using softether to connect office devices to the office remotely ?
If the access to files work fine on a laptop connected at the office then it should be the same when working remotely using VPN.
