I setup a VPN server as a VM on esxi6.5
It's a simple client / server connection like I setup many times before. The client can reach the VPN server and login record logged in the log file, but the client can't get the IP address from the DHCP server (the ip is assigned by a gateway router). I enabled SecurNAT, the client can get the IP from the build-in DHCP server. Local bridge is running. client can't get the IP even in same subnet with the server.
I can't think out what's wrong. Any hints can be provided will be very appreciated.

I know what happened.
in esxi6.5, vswitch security mode need to enable "promiscuous mode". Default setting is reject.

Is this related to vpn server? I think this is the network setting issue.
