What should I config for LDAP Authentification.

Post by boubou » Wed Dec 30, 2015 8:10 pm

Hi all,
I am creating a post because I searched on the forum and on the web but I can't find anything.
SoftEtherVPN is running on a Oracle Linux 7 (mostly Centos 7)

I joined my VPN Server to the AD easily:
realm list
cpu.qc.ca
type: kerberos
realm-name: domain.QC.CA
domain-name: cpu.qc.ca
configured: kerberos-member
server-software: active-directory
client-software: sssd
required-package: oddjob
required-package: oddjob-mkhomedir
required-package: sssd
required-package: adcli
required-package: samba-common
login-formats: %U@domain.qc.ca
login-policy: allow-realm-logins

I created a user in the VPN Server, selectionned Windows NT Domain Authentification but when I try to connect to the VPN, it didn't work.
On the VPN Server, I can see the 'external server authentification' in the security_log but I didnt see any LDAP request on our LDAP Servers...
It looks very strange...

Ineed, I can ping the LDAP Servers.

What should I do to troubleshoot my issue ?

Thanks you very much in advance and I wish you all a very merry christmas!

SoftEther doesn't support LDAP. Please try Radius.
