whether Softether supports multi-core cpu

Post by uangdoudou » Tue May 17, 2016 5:48 am

I have setup a vpn network between two servers using softether and now I have a question. If not considering the bandwidth of the physical network, whether a cpu with more cores(and with anything else the same such as frequency, memory...) can improve the bandwidth of vpn network? Or, does softether make full use of a multi-core cpu? If yes, does it need any configuration?

In case of "very high speed lines" - yes, the more resources you have the best speed you get .. in case of high loads - you can configure server cluster

In some situation, multi core will be used with TCP VPN mode.
