VPN from internal network via external gateway

Post by raduci » Wed Jun 22, 2016 12:05 pm

Dear all please allow me to describe my situation:
My VPN server is behind a router and it has 2 network cards.
Card 1 has the address 192.168.0.X
Card 2 has the address 10.X.X.X
I am running a VPN hub that allows external users to connect via L2TP VPN to the network 10.X.X.X
My problem is that a client from the 192.168.0.x network, same as the VPN server, cannot connect via the public address of the router (IP address or xxx.softether.net address).
Same client connected from Internet, can connect to the VPN.
Is there any fine tune option that I must change ?
Thank you !

Please use router that have hairpinning or connect to private IP address.
