Is it possible to join networks using SoftEther & 3G router?

Post by akournitsky » Wed Jun 22, 2016 1:02 pm

Hi!
I have SoftEther VPN Server and 3G router Robustel 3000. I set up Open VPN server and Open VPN client on the router. VPN client is connecting to the server normally, I can see that both the client and the server get ip address from DHCP server located in LAN on VPN server side (subnet 192.168.0.0), but even using the two addresses there is no ping between the client and the server from any side.

The point is to join two subnets: 192.168.0.0 (VPN Server) and 192.168.11.0 (Router). VPN Server is located behind Cisco Router.

Is it possible, or all you should use on both sides is SoftEther VPN Server?

Please try OpenVPN (L2 mode).
