How to use my system internet over than VPN server internet

Hi All,

I am new to this network side configuration. I have configured VPN server in AWS EC2 instance and able to create vpn users. I connected to VPN server through VPN client. Once connection is established I see that my IP changed to VPN IP. AFAIK if i download or browse something, it will take internet from VPN server. Am I right? If yes, please tell me how to get the internet from local box instead of EC2 internet.

Please unconfigure the default gateway of DHCP.
