Go to options on your smart phone and click on the Show log file option, post the result here and make sure to delete sensitive data from that log file, also, i suggest to try to skip the configuration with signed-SSL certificate and re-configure the SE server to accept the connection from OpenVPN client without that signed-SSL certificate, try a certificate that is locally generated, so that we know where is the problem, is it with the settings or with the certificate that you are provided from your SSL provider.
