the port forwarding via vpn l2tp

Hello. say we have a problem. there is a server on Debian 8 on OpenVZ. tun tap nat prohibition. tech support did not want to include. and we delivered your server. was able to run l2tp everything works even pinged the server from a client machine. but the reverse ping is not. we would like to somehow forward the ports on the client machine. tell me is it possible?

and slightly off topic. on L2TP speeds up to 12 Mbps. is this normal? or something wrong configured? I would like more. and I can't find a proprietary Protocol the VPN via DNS and so on.
