Need to Change the name of the Virtual NIC

I need to change the network adapter's name. The name "VPN Client Adapter" needs to be changed to a common network adapter name. WMIC can easily know that I'm using a VPN knowning the description of the name. They will use "Get-NetAdapter" "Ipconfig/all" "Netbios-Nbstat" and "PING & ARP" I cannot have the name, "VPN client adapter" being displayed. Is it possible to change?

You can change display name of the NIC from 'rename' command in 'change adapter settings'.
