'Static' virtual MAC addresses

Post by mar753 » Wed May 24, 2017 3:41 pm

I have a question, I am using Bridge mode, how can I configure SoftEther Server (Linux) newest beta version, that it will always assign the same virtual MAC address to the computer I am trying to connect from (build-in windows l2tp client). Currently every time I will disconnect from server and some new PC will connect in the meantime, I get different virtual MAC assigned when connecting again. Maybe is there a way to always assign the same virtual MAC, looking for example at 'hostname' which is trying to connect? I need it because I would like to have always the same IP (static) assigned to my client PC. Can you help me?

L2TP client doesn't send identification information.
So, server can't recognize identity of the client.
