Hi Guys,

I've had problems with one of my OSX clients, it won't accept an IP address and just sits there like its waiting for the tun0 interface to start working.

There is no official MacOS GUI client provided by SoftEther. It is recommended that you use the inbuilt L2TP/IPSEC Client instead. If you are trying out SoftEtherGUI, then try reinstalling Tuntap related software, may be it will fix your issue.

Thanks,

Yes I have been using SoftEtherGUI but the same thing happens when I run SoftEther from the command line without the GUI.

I have reinstalled Tuntap a few times as well.

Any other suggestions? I have tried removing and reinstalling a couple of times, but I appear to be missing something as the connections I've had previously configured reappear again after I reinstall.

Any other ideas? Keen to avoid having to rebuild this machine if I can.

vpnclient works fine for me in Sierra. I always run vpnclient as root user (sudo). Try that.

Could you show the log of SoftEther (not GUI log)?
