Dynamic DNS error(s)

Post by dinkydaubilly » Tue May 30, 2017 5:11 pm

Good day, all

Last week I installed SoftEther on a Windows Server 2016 evaluation platform. Although I received a Global IPv4 address error ('Protocol error occurred'), I did get a Dynamic DNS hostname, and I was able to install client on a machine on a different subnet, in a different physical location, and connect via VPN.

Now, I have installed SoftEther on a Windows 7 Pro 64 bit machine, this intended to be a production VPN server. I am getting Dynamic DNS Hostname (None), along with the same error for Global IPv4.

Could anyone give me some insight as to what is causing this?

Thanks.

Registering to DDNS is by https.
Please check if there is firewall or filter to block https.
