hi, we have setup a SE Server on Centos 7 with 5 Public IPs and 5 users on 1 Virtual Hub. It will automatically assign any available public IP to user who successfully login.
all is working fine if we connect using L2TP, but when we use OpenVPN as client, it will not release back the IP so after few connect/disconnect, the IP will runs out and we get error 'cannot assign IP' and client could not connect to VPN.
anyone encounter this issue and know howto fix it?
Thank You,
OpenVPN Client not releasing IP

Re: OpenVPN Client not releasing IP
IP address isn't released when disconnection.
However, IP address will be released by end of lease time.
or
Cause of the problem is that L2TP module requires two adjacent IP addresses.

hi, the issue has been fix by the installer by using another method - dont really understand what he does. he just say using another way to accomplish the IP distribution
could you tell more about L2TP using 2 adjacent IP? we hv not heard anything like that before.

Re: OpenVPN Client not releasing IP
PPP to Ethernet bridge of SoftEther VPN consist of a virtual router and client itself.
The virtual router makes /31 subnet.
So the L2TP module require 2 adjacent IP addresses.
