add my own ssl cert?

Post by gkarasik » Sun Jun 03, 2018 3:44 pm

Hi,

Apologies if this has been covered--I searched but did not find.

In the SoftEther VPN server, may I install/use a third-party (Comodo) SSL cert that's already installed on my server?

I use this command:

/home/qupfer/vpnserver/vpncmd localhost:5555 /SERVER /PASSWORD='mySecretPassword' /CMD ServerCertSet /LOADCERT:/Path/to/cert.cer /LOADKEY:/path/to//cert.key

Thanks for that. It's helpful.

My bad, but ultimately my question is a little more complicated than, "Can I install a third-party SSL cert." It should have been, "Can I install a third-party SSL cert, and then address my SSTP clients to that name-space?" For instance, if my SSL cert Is named "VPN.MyClient.Org," and I have an A record set to "VPN.MyClient.Org," will I be able to connect to a SoftEther VPN server?

How about entering the domain to the VPN destination entry on the VPN client?
