My IP has been involved in a crime, please help

Post by lgw3103 » Fri Jun 21, 2024 7:27 am

I think I had IP sharing turned on, but I committed a crime with my IP and I was investigated.
I know the exact dates, but I need a log of the IPs that were accessed during that time. Please assist me.

What if I only have today's date and no historical records?

If you have no history, then obviously you can't access the history.
However, the prosecution, to prove a crime, must have a record of the accesses.
Normal court processes (in the USA) allow for "discovery", a process for forcing the opposition to reveal all of the facts it has.
Note: They only must give you the facts, but are not required to reveal their strategy.
