Connection Error: It was not possible to verify the identity of the server

Hi all,

I am a newbie here, so please forgive me if I am raising an issue that may have been addressed before. But, I am posting after searching and failing to find any replies in the forum to the following problem:

I am trying to set up the VPN Gate on my Windows 10 device as per official instructions (https://www.vpngate.net/en/howto_l2tp.aspx#windows). However, each time I set up the vpn connection, I get the error: ["It was not possible to verify the identity of the server"], and the connection fails after trying to verify the user name and password (both inserted as "vpn"). So, what's causing this problem? Can someone show me the fix?

Try to specify the DNS server as the gateway device IP address, and DNS is also set in the operating system
