Connected but... not connected

Hi.

According to Softether VPN client, I am connected through an active VPN Gate Server (even the system tray icon blinks), however my IP remains the same. Tested through several VPN Gate servers, but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall a freshly downloaded version (a couple of builds younger #lol, indeed), also to no avail.

I will not clutter the post with printscreens, unless someone requests, but everything looks as it should except ipconfig /all which shows the same IP address.

Hi ALL.

Leeching back in the forum, I found a simple solution that actually worked...

Please try to remove the virtual network adapter and create it again.

I have the same issue. Is there any other solution besides re-installing the VPN Network Adapter ?
