How to connect two machines on the same OpenVPN server?

Hi All,
I have two Linux machines located in different places. Both of them connected to the same VPNgate server thru OpenVPN. How can I find the other machine and connect to it using "ssh"? I tried to ping the IP address given by VPNgate server for the other machine, but there is no response, neither do "ssh" connection works. All I want is just a working "ssh" login session.
Notice that this method works well on some other free VPN provider so there is no any incorrect setting issue, but the same method does not apply using VPNgate servers. I assume VPNgate servers block users from finding each other for a more secure environment, but what if I want two machines to communicate with each other on the same OpenVPN VPNGate server? How can I do that?
Any help on this will be very much appreciated! Thanks!
