中国国内使用可能かどうかの確認

プライベート関係で12月上海へ長期間駐在することになりました。
上海でも使用可能かどうかを確認したく、掲示板投稿させていただきました。

みんなさんお忙しい中、ご教授いただけますよう、よろしくお願いします。

利用予定端末
Mac、iphone

利用予定システム
Google、Gmail、slack、Line、Facebookなど

iOS や macOS からの接続には、通常 L2TP や OpenVPN を使用しますが、中国本土国境をまたぐこれらの通信は失敗するケースが多いようです。

レンタルwifiを借りたほうが無難でしょうか。

海外ローミングサービスを使うとVPNを使用できるという話はあるようです。どのキャリアやISPが使用できるか調べてみることをおすすめします。

I think most of the public VPN services are blocked by the GFW. You probably have better chance of setting up a google remote desktop, from there, you can use VPN. You can rent a tiny AWS and just run it that way.

You can try v2ray, which is a popular software in China. You can buy a Japanese vps, and deploy it well. Since you are on this forum, I guess you will be familiar with linux operation. After deploying, you can download the v2ray client in Japan, so you can use it in Shanghai.
v2ray supports Mac, Windows, iOS, Android.
