Hi All
New to softether so please forgive my ignorance.
I am looking to deploy a VPN solution from a VM in a data centre to allow connections to hardware in the field over 4G. The field hardware consists of a 4G router that will support VPN and device behind (not a PC).
I can not seem to find any info on how this deployment would be done as it appears that the client connections must be established from the client software.
Any help finding documentation etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Timh
You can setup a reverse VPN. That is, all your field 4G run as the VPN client. Create a VPN server somewhere in one of your DC with a public static IP.
1. On a remote site where you have 4G, connect it to a VM (Linux or Windows)
2. Setup a SEVPN client
3. Configure a static IP for the SEVPN client
4. Set the SEVPN client to auto start upon reboot
5. From your central site, you can access the private IP from 3) above
Hope this helps
