Hi all, I'm kinda new to this VPN Gate thing.
So I've recently got this to work, and I've been connecting to other servers without too much problem, until now. After I recently updated AVG, for some reason, now I'm unable to obtain any ip address when I connect to a vpn server.
I go diagnose the problem in Networks and Sharing in the control panel and it said, "VPN - VPN Client doesn't have a valid IP Configuration".
I'm not sure at what I'm supposed to do to solve this issue, I tried turning off and on the wi fi, but it doesn't work.
Please help, I'm clueless when it comes to this.

Try temporarily disabling AVG and see if it helps. It might be something to do with web/network filtering system from within AVG that might be the cause.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that right after I get back home.

Okay, I've temporarily disabled AVG, but nothing changed.
I checked the status of the VPN Client, and it said IPv4 and IPv6 have no network access, same as before.

Try manually setting up IP address on the client side. Also if possible run wireshark on both ends (that is, both the server and client side). See if there are traffic that is flowing through and potentially if client has either received any DHCP ACK packets from server end.
