Hi,
as you see in your last screenshot (in first post), your VPN adapter has a IP like 169.254.x.x wich is a so called "link local" or "zero conf" adress. They will be autogenerated, if no other setting is avaliable.
It means in your case, what you are connected to the vpn server, but the server doen't send you a ip-configuration (or to be exactly, you didn't receive one). Maybe a missconfigured server, maybe a too strict firewall...no idea.
You should try an other server and if this happen again, then you should tell more about the server, installed software and stuff like that ;)
And just as a note. More intressting then the Windows-Info-Screen, is the routing table. Open commandline and enter "route print -4". But for your special problem, the routing table wouldn't help. So you needn't create one now.
Edit: I see you use a acer notebook with an apple ethernet adapter. Can you explain that? Is it a iphone/ipad used as a modem or something like that? It shouldn't be make a difference, but I'm curious^^

Re: data transferred to my isp not to vpn
Hi..
Thanks for your reply..
Im using a prepaid account from my local telco..and I use thethering from my Iphone to the laptop.. thats why u see the acer notebook and iphone there..
I bought an internet plan from my telco to surfing internet..then I connect to Softether VPN in order to save my data quota that were given from my telco and its limited to 1GB only..
2 days ago Ive I bought the plan..and Im surely confirmed that I connected to the VPN server..but yet the other day..I got a text from my telco saying that I already used 80% of my quota..
Its kind of weird..coz I manage to bypass the quota when I connected to the VPN last month..and its has no problem at all..I checked from time to time..and Im using only 1MB for the whole period..
Do you think bcoz of the firewall from my telco? how am I going to bypass the firewall?..or is it I need to any config setting from my laptop or Iphone?..pls help me..
P/S: below is the screenshot of the text message from my telco..

Re: data transferred to my isp not to vpn
I'm not sure if you really mean what I think. If yes, you have a very very big misunterstanding about vpn and networking.
You CAN'T bypass your quota. On the contrary, a vpn create more traffic (protocol overhead, controll messages....).
You send a encrypted package to your ISP, then the encryptet package goes to the vpn server and will be decrypted. After that, the package goes back to the internet.
Your ISP simple count the packages, he recevied.
And of course he will count VPN packages too.
Thats the V in VPN. The connection is only virtual. You have no physical one. And to reach the server, you need your (payed) internet.
That this worked in the first month is only a bit of luck. Your provider doesn't count well ;)
ISP=Internet Service Provider=telco

Hi..
Thanks for the info..
What I mean is.. I was successfuly connected to VPN server that was listed VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Server.. once connected..I will bypass my Telco/ISP and get the new network(VPN)..
And then for example..when Im surfing YouTube..all the downloaded data will be sent to VPN..not to my ISP/Telco right?..
And Ive tried to used another ISP/Telco..it wont work..all the downloaded data were sent to my ISP..
And I've running the speed test..it shows the speed coming from ISP/Telco
