Hello
I have a Softether VPN server on my VPS. It is OpenVPN compatible. I can connect using OpenVPN app on iOS. I also connected on Windows without any problem but I could not make it on Linux.
I installed network-manager-openvpn-client on my client computer running Linux Mint 16 Mate 32 bit.
When I try to create a OpenVPN connection it asks me for certificate and key files but there is not any. I only have a OpenVPN configuration file (.opvn).
How can I make this connection? I'd be grateful if you could point me to the right direction for the solution.
My purpose is to use only this connection, prevent any other net access and make this connection automatically on login.
How to setup client on Linux without keys & certificates?

Thank you for your reply. That document looks really thorough. However I don't use Linux anymore. I'll take a look to this if I do in the future.
