Connected but local ip doesnt change

Hello,
I have a windows server in Netherlands.
What i am trying to do is to setup a proxy server on that windows server and connect to it from my Home PC and laptop so that i will have static ip when i need.
Thuse,i have installed Softether server on my windows box and client app on Home PC.
Everything is successfully configured and i am able to connect my VPN server but my ip on home pc doesnt seem to be changing to Netherlands ip when i check it on whatismyip.com.
Could you please tell me what i am doing wrong ?

Run `tracert whatismyipaddress.com` at a command prompt. Check whether the client computer is using a default route through the server computer. Routing can be changed in the SoftEther client configuration.

Remember that the server computer must do NAT on behalf of the client computer to get the desired result. SecureNAT in SoftEther can do this, or ICS in Microsoft Server can do this, but some kind of NAT must be enabled.

Hello,
I have just run tracert command and i see that its not going over my server.
But i am connected to vpn.
What do you think could be the problem ?

It means the default gateway on the client computer wasn't updated when the VPN session was created between the client and server. You should read the SoftEther NAT documentation or some other tutorial that describes running NAT on Windows Server.
