how to protect server manager login?

Post by sevuf » Mon Dec 15, 2014 4:29 pm

hi,

is there a possibility to avoid that someone can access the server manager? is there an option that the server is only accessible from an internal ip?

when someone knows the vpn ip he could attack the manager with brute force passwords to get access to the server. do you also plan to integrate certificate login? what is here your best tip for protecting the vpn server manager? can you bind server manager login to a defined ip, for example an ip of the local network? or possible ip blocker which checks failed login attempts?

regards
daniel

ok, i found the answer "adminip.txt"
