have tried several vpngate servers, all with same result.

ipchicken and speedtest still show my real ip address.

I must be doing something wrong!

any advice appreciated.

Please check your virtual LAN card has been assigned correct IP address.

Please make sure that the virtual network adapter has least 'interface metric'.

If there is multiple network adapter which have a default-gateway, the Windows uses adapter which have least interface metric.
