Hi, I installed the softether vpn server from a ppa:
https://launchpad.net/~paskal-07/+archive/softethervpn
After installation I have tried to start the sever by various ways but none of them works.
I have tried softether-vpnserver, vpnserver, softethervpn and many other variations of this.
When I do this:
server@server# apt-get install softether-vpnserver
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
softether-vpnserver is already the newest version
But I can't figure out the command to start it.
I have also checked the init.d directory but none in that seem like that of softether. I also checked the entries under chkconfig.
Please tell me how to start the server. (By the way, it is not already on.)
I installed softether vpn server from a ppa but doesnt start

Finally figured out, that vpnserver start/stop can be used to start and stop the server and vpncmd can be used to admin the server. I have seen a windows tool with gui to admin the server. Is there a similar tool for ubuntu?

I also use a ubuntu client. Is there a way to remote admin the server without going to a windows machine?
