Reduce ping even more with VPN?

I mounted a VPN with Softether client connected to a friend's ISP wich has less ping than mine. The latency was reduced from 250 to 100, I connect directly to the local bridge since I open the port 5555 on my friend's router, I wanted to know if there's a way to reduce the ping even more, since my friend has 50 ping to Brazil servers and I, using his ISP through the VPN got 100.
