Hi all,
I recently came across SoftEther VPN when Logmein Hamachi moved from a free model to a paid-only model.
In short, all I am attempting to do is connect a remote PC to my local network for the purposes for local network file sharing.
I have tried to follow the guides on the site, but all I have been able to achieve is sharing my local network AND my local internet.
I do NOT want to share my local internet, just my local network shares.
Could someone please advise on the appropriate method to achieve this or point me towards the correct (and fully fleshed-out) guide on the website that can take me through step-by-step how to achieve this without sharing my local internet too?
Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter :)
Kind regards

Disable NAT for the remote client?
When you don't like the answer, change the question.

Thank you for your answer but alas that doesn't help me out, as I find SoftEther incredibly complex to use. I'd need a full walkthrough and/or guide.

Thank you for the link. This option is disabled in my server settings, but the remote PCs still share the local internet connection.

Thank you for your help, but if you could just link me to a guide which shows me how to share just local network shares rather than network shares and the internet, that'd be much more appreciated as I'm not trouble-shooting an issue per se, but rather trying to work out how to do something.
I'm sure there's a guide somewhere telling me in full how to do what I want, it's just that I've not been able to find it on the site.
Many thanks in advance.

Use local bridge (not SecureNAT)
Set IP and DNS manually
Don't set a Gateway
for example, if your home network is 192.168.0.0/24 and your router has the IP 192.168.0.1, this settings should work (set it for the VPN Client Adapter, not for your real ethernet adapter.)
