Hi,
I'm experimenting with this two aplis and I notice that on the default virtual ip of softether server, 192.168.30.1 there is not any service running such as ssh, brekeke, etc.
I'd like to try running brekeke over softether vpn.
The idea is to work with 192.168.30.1, but this ip seems to respond only to ping an provide dhcp data.
I'd like some more information about this matter an if run brekeke sip over softether can be done.
thanks

I can't understand your problem.
Could you explain more detail?
192.168.30.1 is default IP of SecureNAT(you can change the IP). SecureNAT provide DHCP and NT servoce.

Hi,
I want to run voip over vpn using softether software.
I noticed (as you explained) that the default ip (192.168.30.1) is no more than a dhcp/nat service, so no other internal services such as ssh or for the case brekeke sip server are running on that ip.
I recently solved the this problem of connectivity by running a softether vpn client on the same machine where is running softether vpn server and brekeke sip server.
Once the client is running a virtual interface is created and I can configure the brekeke sip server refering to this virtual interface.
I'd like to know if there is any other ways to run a sip server over a softether vpn.
Thank you.

Hi,
as explained a softether client is needed. We are still in beta fase, but as long as we know it works fine.
In a few weeks we may be trying a real envoriment with real traffic.
I will report.
