SoftEther VPN User Forum

Hello SoftEther forums!

I'm trying to connect to Japanese servers, and once in a blue moon I'll actually connect via VPN Relay Servers (Though last time I lots connection multiple times mid game) and all the rest of the time I get Error Message 2: Protocol error occurred. Error was returned from the destination server.

Idk how much it'll help, but I'm using pretty much default settings from the newest version on the Windows 8.1OS. Thanks for any help! :)

Usually, I will go through the whole list of viable japanese servers and they'll all return back an error. I just downloaded SoftEther yesterday, so it's the newest. I'll try the UDP method though.

EDIT: Tried the UDP and it is returning Error Code one rather then Error code 2. Is there anything else I can do? When I do connect the software works wonderfully, but I can't reliably connect.

EDIT 2: I'm redownloading SoftEther... IDK if I had the right one. I'll install this one, see if it works.

EDIT 3: Ok, I think I have the right one... How do I set up a japanese IP connection?

Well, I can definitely get connected every once in a while. Maybe the servers go offline?
