Installation of the Adapter device driver failed.

ok, so I would make it detailed.
I had been using this software for months and never a problem occurred.
I'm using Window 8.1 Single Language on a x64 operating system.
The problem came suddenly as one day when I tried to connect to the VPN server
The error (Code 2: Protocol error) occurred. There wasn't solution online so I consulted my friend and he suggested that deleting the VPN's Virtual Network Adapter as well as uninstalling the whole VPN software and reinstall it again, letting the software itself to regenerate everything would work.
I tried it, at first I couldn't delete the Adapter in Network and Sharing center as the option was greyed out
So I headed to Device manager (as my friend suggested), located the Adapter and deleted it off (along with software, I ticked that option) and I reinstalled it. Restarted laptop, restarted modem. Even used CCleaner to look for remaining cache and swept it away.
Installed it and once I connected, it requires installation of new Adapter, clicking OK leads to the loading screen a while and it disappears, showing an OFFLINE connection to the selected VPN server and installing the Adapter manually brings me an error "Installation of the Virtual Network Adapter device driver failed."
I had disabled the whole AVG internet security, run the software in Administrator mode (As in right click>Run as admin), installed the software on another HDD, picked older version and the latest version released today, waited few days and retried, picked other internet connection, installed it through Device Manager > Add a legacy device, the same error came.
P/S The "Add a Legacy software device" led me to Network Adapter and located Softether VPN and surprisingly there were 3 VPN adapters in the list which none of them could perform successful installation as the error prompts "Invalid Access to Memory".
P/P/S this is connecting from Malaysia.
So... What to do ... ?
