Use of SoftEther VPN on very high latency networks

Hi Everyone,

I am running a 32-bit Windows SoftEther VPN server, which works like a charm. Only when I am trying to connect to my VPN server from a very high latency network with pings of 500 till over 2000ms, no connection can be established.

Is there any way to set-up SoftEther VPN for very high latency networks while keeping regular use on high speed networks as blazing fast as they are normally?

Please try to check "disable NAT-T" and "Disable UDP acceleration".

In the config file I disabled the Nat-t and UDP acceleration, unfortunately this did not help. I hoped there was a hidden time-out setting to be found somewhere.

Btw, using openvpn as the client

These pings show how high latency and unreliable the network is:

Can you post a normal ping of your network without the vpn connection if possible?

Could you check a vpn server log?
