SoftEther on Centos7/nix L2TP/IPSEC - Slow network speeds

Post by zokstar » Wed Dec 03, 2014 12:02 am

Is anyone else experiencing very very slow network speeds with Softether on linux (centos, ubuntu etc)?

Ive done a few speed tests and i can only manage to pull down like 5-10kb. At times browsing doesn't even work.

Ive added a few entries into my sysctl.conf file but hasnt made a different :(

I have noticed that some of the servers are quite slow. Usually I have to try more than one to get a server able to handle multimedia streams. If you keep track of the IPs, you'll see it is certain servers that are slow and others which perform better.

What I suspect is the slow ones are hosted by individuals with slow internet service.
