DHCP service is not working

Hello,
I have installed softether VPN but my DHCP service is failing. Its not even starting. Also when I checked the ifconfig then I see that tap_vpn device is not listed in the list.
Please help me.

You could have honestly posted your thread following this guide:

I presume you are running linux especially when you have mentioned 'ifconfig'.
First, how is DHCP daemon failing? where are your logs? what did you do to create the issue?
Second, 'ifconfig' by default would only list interfaces that are marked as 'UP'. You may want to try 'ifconfig -a' or 'ip link'
Last, I cannot tell from either head to toe your issues. You are running SoftEther VPN Client for linux right? I presume it is the latest version right? Where are you intending to connect? Which guide are you following?
In the very least, stylise your response according to how dnobori suggested on the link I mentioned above.
