SoftEther VPN User Forum

I have setup l2tp vpn server on windows 8.1 pro at home and I use native Windows vpn client for accessing it from my office. The vpn server is behind a firewall router. I have followed the SoftEther tutorials and the client is connected to the server. UDP 500 & 4500 are forwarded to the vpn server.

The problem is that the download/upload using vpn is very slow, a few KB/s I have tested the network using the SoftEther tools and the network speed is great. I'm using local bridge.

Could somebody help me what should I check? What to do next?

I have rebooted the server and is working faster now, the speed goes to about 1.3 MB/s . Why is that difference?
