Does VPN over ICMP/DNS Actually work???!!!

I have been unable to get VPN over ICMP/DNS to actually work??? If you search the forums here you will find there are many people can't get it to work: http://www.google.ca/search?q=site%3Aww ... n+over+dns

From reading above it seems the CLIENT does not know how to go into the ICMP//DNS mode - I have disabled nat traversal option and picked a port that does not work so it should fallback to ICMP or DNS but it never connects.

The server has port 53 open and it does respond to ping, the testing is actually done within same subnet (local network).

I am running server 4.12.9514 and have installed bridge on the same computer as the client.

Be great and thanks for any help

ICMP/DNS mode is disabled when NAT-T option is disabled.

Did you enable ICMP/DNS mode?
If you use Linux, you can enable by "VpnOverIcmpDnsEnable" command.
