Would someone help me with setting this up?

If you want to obtain the effective solution for your problem, you should supply the following information when you post the question on this forum. Otherwise, even if a VPN expert cannot answer to your problem.

1. Operating system name and the type of CPU-bits
(e.g. CentOS 6.4 x64) WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64 BIT.

2. The result of "ifconfig –a" (UNIX) or "ipconfig /all" (Windows) I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS.

3. The result of "uname –a" (UNIX) or "systeminfo" (Windows) I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS.

4. The build number of SoftEther VPN CURRENT

5. Which SoftEther VPN component are you using? I DO NOT KNOW WHICH ONE TO USE. I DID INSTALL OPEN VPN AND THAT WAS ALOT EASIER THAN SOFTETHER.

6. Whether or not there is a NAT or Firewall between your VPN server and the Internet.
(If there is a NAT or Firewall, you should open a TCP port for the VPN listener.) I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS.

7. Are you using SecureNAT? NO.
(If so, why don't you use the Local Bridge function instead?
The performance of SecureNAT is lower than Local Bridge, and it consumes
much of CPU time. You should not use SecureNAT except very limited situation.)
Please see http://www.softether.org/index.php?titl ... T_Function

8. Your current vpn_server.config or vpn_bridge.config file should be attached on the post. I WOULD HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO THIS. THAT IS WHY I NEED HELP. YOUR INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT EASIER TO FOLLOW.
(You may hide your confidential information on these config files if included)

Additionally, your SoftEther VPN issue perhaps came from your misconfiguration OF COURSE IT DID. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. LOL

or wrong-setting (e.g. making the packet-loop between the Virtual HUB and the physical network adapter) at almost all circumstances, except minority cases. Before posting a question you must carefully check your configuration. AGAIN. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS AND NEED HELP OR BETTER INSTRUCTIONS.

Good luck! NOT LUCK. KNOW HOW. PIA

Tell us your "technical" question, then I may tell you which detail you need to provide.
