Will this work (Static IPs for Remote Devices to a Web App)?

Here is what I need to do...
I want to use an iPad (or other remote device) to access a Web Application on an office intranet.
I need a static IP assigned to the iPad as part of the VPN.
I need to use a URL like http://www.MyWebApp.com that will point to the Web App at the office.
I need the data from point to point (office to iPad) to be encrypted.
The Web App is just a javascript based web site.

SoftEther will be running at the office on the same network as the Web Application is being served from.
(This is a Windows based environment that will run SoftEther)
Any SoftEther gurus that have done this before?

Setup a softether server and enable bridge function. When u connected the server. You will be assigned a IP address and DNS settings if you have a dhcp server in your office network. If the web app can be used by the machine in your office, then your machine can be too.

I did get this solution up and running with the exception of the static IP part.

I will be posting a follow up question to this effect and a new question about how are the client MAC addresses derived.

Note: the Local Bridge (use the Local Bridge Setting button) must be set up for this to work.

Thanks.

L2TP client doesn't have fixed MAC address.
So, there is no way to assign static IP address for client.

Another option perhaps:

Do a standard VPN client connection (no bridge).
Prior to connecting open the VPN adapter and assign the IP static address.
I do this all the time as I don't want DHCP running due to conflicts with other DHCP servers.

It may also be possible to assign the MAC address staticly but I have not checked for the setting.
