SoftEther VPN User Forum

Before 2 days ago i was connecting to VPN Server but for 2 days i can't connect.
When i try to connect to server (:443 HTTPS port) it's freezing "verifying server certificate" screen and then giving the error2 (Error was returned from the destination server. Protocol error occurred.

I think the reason why can't connect from my school internet. My university internet has very heavy rules so i can't surf any social sites ( facebook, twitter, torrent :D etc....)

i was connecting 2 days ago that i was say but now i can't.

Homever when i try to connect to VPN Server with my Telephone Internet i can connect but with school's internet i can't.

I tried the oldest version of softether VPN (client, server and server manager) but there is no change :(

My VPN Server from DigitalOcean and i configured it myself

Before this i can do everything with no problem and i could connect.

How they can block the connect to any server?

only working program was the softether VPN and now isn't :(

Maybe they simply blocked your VPS IP?

If your university allows PING or ssh connections (port 22 by default), you can first try to reach your server by pinging it or ssh or whatever way you can think of. If you can reach it, your connection problem is either a misconfiguration or your university might have blocked the port 443 to your server. You can also try to connect to your vpn through another port like 80 (your connection would still be encrypted).
