Hi, I have a server that uses softether and tell my customers to use softether client

but i have a problem lets say the server has to be restarted and some customers are using the VPN

why is it that when they use softether client the page still loads when server is down but instead exposes there real ip?

atleast when they use l2tp through regular built in windows software if the server goes down while there on it just wont load any pages and not expose there real ip

there must be an option to fix this correct maybe a setting they can change?

Depending on the firewall you use, you might be able to block all other interfaces.

Please delete default gateway configuration of physical NIC and add route to VPN server.
