Password Retry Limit

Hi,

I am looking for the way to prevent VPN server from unauthorized access.

While I am using the basic password authentication, I am missing the maximum limit of retry counter for the password.

If we can configure the maximum (consecutive) retry count for the password, this will be simple, but effective way to prevent the brute-force attack.

Is there any way to implement this mechanism?

Some RADIUS server supports the limitation.

Thanks - but what I am looking for is to use the basic authentication built in SoftEther, not using outside component such as RADIUS and LDAP....

SoftEther VPN doesn't have such function.
