I setup vpnserver with softether, and enable the openvpn feature，then I connect it from both Linux and Windows，but get this problem：
the client always get a wrong gateway address，it is the IP address +1，for example：
if client get the ip is 192.168.30.13 ，the gateway address must be 192.168.30.14

I have setup the vpnserver with both CentOS and Ubuntu for test，on two cloud server，and get the same problem：

The VPN adapter is an ethernet connection or a ppp link?

It's normal.
The gateway address is OpenVPN protocol converter address.
You don't need care about it when you can use.
