Each server in cascaded conn gets HOST UNREACHABLE

I've two SoftEther servers, VPS and Local. Local is initiated a cascaded connection to VPS. There are other services running on both of them that needs to communicate with each other, but any communication initiated through the cascaded connection results in HOST UNREACHABLE error.
Any devices connected through the VPS can't reach the Local server either... What do I do to make the services on either of the servers be able to communicated over the cascaded connection?

Are you sure no firewall is blocking the connection?

Very sure. No firewall rules are configured. At all.
I finally resorted to using a small VM on the local server dedicated to SoftEther. Now I can access the host and the rest of the network, but of course not the VM. It's enough of an workaround for now.

Did you use Linux?
If so, you can use TAP mode localbridge to access the host itself.

I believe I tried that (I don't recall completely) and failed. However, that maybe due to not configuring the TAP device properly, I was still getting a grasp on that then. But I'll try again next time I've to configure SoftEther server on Linux. (It's running on a VM now as I mentioned in the last post)
