VPN Setup for Linux

Hi there.
I find it odd that this is an Opensource project and yet when I went looking for instructions on how to set up L2TP client on Linux, I found no documentation on your site, yet there's documentation for Android, iP..., Mac, and Windows. Is it just me or is it plain unfair not to have instructions for Linux clients?
I use Linux (Ubuntu 15.10 to be specific) at home and at the office and had to go digging elsewhere to setup L2TP client on my own. Given that Ubuntu 15.10 dropped L2TP, I had to setup OpenVPN server in addition to L2TP server then configured OpenVPN client on my laptop.
I understand that there are multitudes of distributions when it comes to Linux, but you can at least target the most popular distribution (currently Mint - http://www.distrowatch.com) for other Linux users to use as a guide!
Anyway, enough ranting, there's work to be done.
ak.
